Stephen J. DeGuglielmo, CPA Director

Steve has over thirty years of experience in public accounting. Steve provides tax, tax planning and tax saving strategies to individuals and business owners. He also works closely with business owners to provide solutions to the challenges of operating a business and advises nonprofit organizations on IRS regulations particular to their industry. Steve is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and in Florida.

Daniel E. Schaffner, CPA Managing Member

Dan joined the firm in 2005 and has over twenty years of professional accounting experience in assurance, accounting and tax services. Dan oversees the firm’s assurance services, and is also significantly involved in providing tax services to businesses, trusts, individuals and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the firm, Dan was employed by firms in New Orleans, LA and Houston, TX. Dan is a native of Georgetown, MA and holds Bachelor’s degrees in accounting and finance from Tulane University in New Orleans. Dan is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Massachusetts and in Texas.

Jeffrey M. Banville, CPA, MBA

Jeff graduated from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine with a Master's degree in 2014 and earned his license to practice as a certified public accountant in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, Jeff was employed by firms in Maine and Massachusetts. Jeff has experience in providing tax services for individuals, non-profit organizations, businesses, and trusts. Jeff is also involved in performing attestation and assurance services. Jeff is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in Maine and Massachusetts.

Luis Fernandez, MSA

Luis joined the firm in 2019 as an intern and quickly moved into a staff accountant role performing duties within the firm’s tax and assurance services. Luis graduated from Franklin Pierce University with a Master’s degree in accounting in 2020. His goal is to become a licensed certified public accountant in Massachusetts.

Donna Leo, CPA

Donna joined the firm as an assurance services manager in January 2020. Donna spent the previous four years as audit manager with another CPA firm and has over twenty years of experience in public accounting and fifteen years in not-for-profit and SEC operations. Her years of audit experience has been spent specializing in work with not-for-profit agencies, lenders, multi-family housing projects and government and HUD filings. Donna holds a B.B.A. from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL. She serves the profession as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Florida and Maryland Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Lorraine Mahoney, EA

Lorri is an Enrolled Agent admitted by the US Treasury to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Lorri also operates Ritz Payroll Solutions, Inc., an affiliate of the firm that provides payroll and related services to many of our clients and others. Lorri has over twenty years experience providing tax and payroll services to our clients and others. Cindy Martinez

Cindy joined the firm in 2017 as an intern and has become a part of the team moving into a staff accountant role in 2021. Cindy graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 2018. Cindy is currently working towards her Master’s degree in accounting. Her goal is to become a licensed certified public accountant in Massachusetts.
